How Our iCloud Unlock Works
A complete step-by-step walkthrough — from entering your IMEI to activating your device after the lock is removed.
Enter Your IMEI or Serial Number
Go to our iCloud Unlock page and enter your device's 15-digit IMEI or serial number. Our system automatically identifies your device model. Not sure where to find your IMEI? Dial *#06# on any iPhone, or go to Settings > General > About. For Apple Watch, open the Watch app on the paired iPhone > My Watch > General > About.
Get an Instant Price Quote
Once your device is identified, we generate a real-time price quote based on device model, generation, and current status (clean, lost mode, or flagged). You'll see the exact price before committing — no registration required to get a quote.
Select Your Service Tier
Standard Unlock covers devices with clean status — no Lost Mode and no active blacklist flag. This covers the majority of second-hand purchase and forgotten credentials scenarios. Premium Unlock covers more complex cases including Lost Mode and flagged devices, with priority processing.
Complete Payment
Payment is processed securely via Stripe — all major credit and debit cards accepted. You'll receive an order confirmation email with your unique order reference number, estimated processing timeframe, and a link to track your order status.
Server-Side Processing
Our team submits a removal request through verified official channels. This updates the device's record in Apple's activation database at the server level. The change is not made on your device — it happens entirely in Apple's infrastructure. This is why the unlock is permanent: it survives factory resets and iOS updates because the device's record in Apple's database has been updated.
You Receive a Completion Notification
When the unlock is processed, we send you a completion email. Processing typically takes 1–5 business days for standard orders and 1–3 business days for premium. You can also check your order status at any time on our order status page using your email and order reference.
Activate Your Device
Power on your device (or restart it). Connect to a Wi-Fi network. Complete the setup wizard — the device will no longer ask for the previous owner's Apple ID. Sign in with your own Apple ID to restore iCloud services, or set up as a new device. For Apple Watch: re-pair with your iPhone using the Watch app.
What "server-side unlock" actually means
iCloud Activation Lock is enforced by Apple's activation servers. When a device is set up or restored, it contacts these servers and checks whether the linked Apple ID credentials have been verified. If they haven't, the device stays locked.
Our team updates the device's record in Apple's activation database to indicate that the Activation Lock has been legitimately released. This is a server-side change — it doesn't touch your device, install any software, or modify any hardware.
Because the change is at the server level, the next time your device contacts Apple's servers (when you connect to Wi-Fi during setup), it receives the unlocked status and proceeds past the Activation Lock screen automatically.
